Talk About “Zero Generation” !! (Case in Indonesia)

On last Saturday, i was walked down to “taman suropatih”, then i was alarm with the style of young peoples who’s ”hang out” on that place, the way they talked, moved, and wear a clothes its to weird for me (maybe I’m an old school one). Moreover, what they do on public area its so embarrassment….they kissing, hugging, thouced each other with no shamed at all. Than i asked to my self, what happen with my generation? are they will give their best for our country in the future? i hope they smart, but…with that attitudes…i don’t have an idea..i remember too, how television effect on them with f**kin moron “sinetrons” who just give them a dream and how to spend their money “wisely”, MTV(moron television) who give them a lot of useless words and crazy style,….how about u guys…this is just my opinion…if it not true for u, i hope that i was wrong….

iya rul stuju klo generasi jaman skrg ky’ ga punya kepribadian diri sendiri.. sbrnnya sey gpp klo ikut”an jaman gt tp hrs dilyat dulu positive negativenya, yaa klo positive mah gpp diikutin, tp klo yg negative kan bisa gawat klo diikutin..
but just remember one thing, don’t judge book by its cover, kan ga smua yg pnampilannya ky’ gt tp brain n attitudenya jg ky’ gt,hehehe..

and the assumption of being ‘cool’ is affected so much by the media, like THE sinetrons, which are lame, copycats, moral-degrading (imagine, kids at elementary school are dating in some sinetrons), and not to mention they are scars to the art itself.
MTV plays important role too in shaping these youngsters. but then again, it’s their culture (which isn’t good of course), and there’s nothing too wrong for people who’re trying to spread their culture, like J-style or K-wave.
so, the remedy for this problem (i think) lies on the family (perbanyak ibadah), school (especially elementary school), government (they should give some space for traditional art to appear more on the screen), and boycott sinetron
