The pictures below shows that Indonesia must be for Indonesian (rakyat Indonesia) on the first place. Its concerning that nowadays Indonesia massively being capitalized by only `few peoples`(use term like,mishandled their power,money,policy making, etc, etc, you name it) that somehow destroying harmonization in Indonesia which could not included in this part of Indonesian.

After 65 years from its independence, Indonesia today still on process of harmonization adjustment. While many of bad news about differences between Indonesian, and conflict between Indonesian, but I believe that is the way Indonesian learn how to understand each other and create new kind offusion harmonization between local culture, traditional and urban culture, religious culture, (since we have 6 different religions and the biggest Muslim population, who should keep maintain to tolerate other religion because we are the majority) also, different generation, and international culture that all can form a nation culture which I hope lead to a mature modern civilization (rich not only from its soil and its heritage but also from its cultures, knowledge, experience and strong teamwork) amin. Now might be the time for Indonesian make Indonesia for Indonesian, Yuhuu…

On the occasion of Indonesia Independent day (17th of August), Carka bastianmade this picture available. He got the inspiration of this design from his friend DJ Thamrin who actually said the word `Indonesia for Indonesian`and plan to make the t-shirt of it. When I ask what is the message behind his work, Cakra said, it´s based on The Fifth Principle of Pancasila, especially point 5, “Social justice for the all of the people of Indonesia” (in Indonesian, Keadilan Sosial bagi seluruh Rakyat Indonesia), this means that all of the country’s natural resources and the national potentials should be utilized for the greatest possible good and happiness of the people , which now still hard to execute.

On last Saturday, I was walked down to taman suropatih, then i was alarmed with the style of young peoples (junior/senior high school teenager)  who’s ”hang out” on that place. The way they talked, moved, and wear a clothes its to weird for me (maybe I’m an old school one). Moreover, what they do on public area its so “whew-.-” for me….they kissed, hugged, touched each other and on and on (as well as car shaking) with no shamed at all, like it is part of Indonesian culture on Saturday night.

I remember, how television effect on them with morons Indonesia’s opera soaps (sinetron) which just gived them a dream and how to spend their money “wisely”, MTV make it worse that feed them with a lot of useless words and crazy styles.

It’s only my opinion on that day, I hope it’s not totally correct/wrong, because I believe that not all of Indonesian youth acting such stories that I wrote, or what I saw is just a life style trend? which will be changing by new trend I don’t know for sure..(2007)

Telingaku, lumayan tajam, kadang dapat mendengar suaranya sayup-sayup sedang bercengkrama dengan orang-orang di sekitarnya. Telingaku menikmati cerita, komen, atau pertanyaan-pertanyaan lucu yang ia lontarkan. banyak cerita-ceritanya yang ingin kudengarkan, banyak!. Suara ketawanya suka berubah ubah, kadang hehehe, kadang hihihi, kadang hahaha, kadang eehk ehhk ehhk (ditarik tarik), smua jenis ketawanya membuat lekuk senyum di bibirku. Telingaku juga menikmati petikan gitarnya di waktu senggang, sayang dia jarang main gitar lagi.

Indra Perasaku, “alert” dengan tekstur kulitnya, jarinya, rambutnya, dan temperatur tubuhnya. Halus dan hangat. Menenangkan.

Hampir smua indraku berfungsi sangat baik kecuali lidahku,… yang kadang tidak berfungsi dengan baik di depannya. Lidahku kadang kelu, kadang mengucapkan sesuatu yang aneh, kadang meracau kalau dekat dia. Padahal banyak hal yang ingin kuceritakan kepadanya, banyak!. Tapi sering saja aku malah yang mati gaya kalau bertemu, hha.
